There are many ways to remodel a bathroom. You can replace a few features, such as hardware or tile, or you can completely gut it and start over. NH bathroom remodelers also offer a middle ground with bathroom conversions. This process leaves the bathroom’s existing bathroom layout intact but changes the tub or shower to better fit the homeowner’s preferences. If this sounds like something you’d like to do to your bathroom, All Work Construction can make it happen!
Here are three of the most common bathroom conversions our team of NH remodelers can do.
Tub-to-Shower
Converting a tub into a shower is the conversion our customers most often ask us to do. Many homes have standard fiberglass tubs because they are inexpensive and, therefore, are the default for property development companies. These tubs don’t give you much space while showering, though, so converting yours into a shower is a simple way to make your shower feel bigger without actually taking up any more space in the bathroom.
Shower-to-Tub
Some customers want the conversion to go the other way. If you’ve always wanted a bathroom where you can luxuriate in the bath, this is the conversion for you. As long as there is enough horizontal space, we can insert a tub into the space your shower occupies. Depending on space and your preferences, the tub can be built-in or freestanding.
Shower Curtain to Shower Doors
The most straightforward bathroom conversion is swapping a shower curtain for glass shower doors. For this conversion, the size of your current shower doesn’t matter. Whether you have a full-size bath or a three-quarter stall, we can install glass shower doors. Shower doors give you more space in the shower (no more pesky curtains sticking to you!) and allow for better lighting. If you have a hard time seeing what you’re doing in the shower, glass doors are a game-changer.
